I could see why that caught your attention hawk! ;D
I was unaware that there was a “giant strain” or any other “strain” of the variety Delicious. I simply don’t understand how people can confuse environmental growing conditions with “strains”.

Well, not a fluke, but heavily environmentally influenced by the grower. Required tremendous intervention with fertilizer and other growing conditions to attain that large size. Certainly very difficult to replicate.

I’ve bought seeds from this company before. Both packs were good. One was of Roma VF- that did really well. The other was of a giant cantaloupe variety- that did not do so well. But it really wasn’t the company’s fault- the Carolina Giant cantaloupe has little-to-no resistance to CMV.
