Black Kush

Kush, at its very basic, is a strain of Cannabis Indica; its name originating from the Hindu Kush mountain range in India. The Kush strains were also among those that were cultivated by a pharma company for their trial of medicinal cannabis.

Black Kush is known to contain Limonene, Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Terpinolene. All of these hydrocarbons are said to have a relaxing effect on the mind and a general mood enhancer. This is considered to be one of the more potent types of Indica. Black Kush is believed to induce sleep, have a soothing effect on muscles and uplift your mind. Black Kush is a hybrid variety and was originally created by the breeder called ‘The Cali Connection.’

They crossed the GSC variant with a backcrossed Blackwater to produce what we know as this Kush Heavy strain. This hybrid strain has a confluence of a floral and chocolatey flavor that comes from the GSC. The narrow shape of the plant is influenced by the Blackwater itself. The THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) levels of Black Kush are known to be at 20% which is used to alleviate neuropathic pain.

Black Kush is known for its floaty and a slight euphoric effect. It is believed to be good for long-lasting pain relief. An Indica dominant strain has potent medical properties.
